Scale-IT™ Order Entry and Shipping Policies

All prices shown on this web site are in U.S. dollars.  All times shown are Pacific time zone (either standard or daylight savings, depending upon the time of year).

Shipping and handling charges are based on shipment to U.S. addresses in the contiguous 48 states; shipments to Alaska and Hawaii may incur additional shipping charges; we will contact you if this is the case.  All international orders require additional shipping charges.

Minimum order shipping weight is one pound.  Orders with multiple items are shipped based upon true total shipping weight in increments of one pound but if the total weight is less than one pound the shipping rates for one pound will apply.

7.7% sales tax added to all orders shipped to Washington state addresses.

Shipping, Stock Items

We maintain inventory on most popular scales (See Shipping, Drop Shipped Items for information on shipping items which we have shipped to you directly from our suppliers). Due to the large number of items, volatility of demand and vendor production schedules it is impossible for us to guarantee that we will have each and every individual item in stock when an order is received. Orders for in stock items are processed on a "first come, first served basis" based upon the date and time received.

We have outgoing order shipments picked up daily Monday through Friday; there are no shipments on Saturday or Sunday.  For in stock items paid for with a properly authorized credit card:

• Orders received before 2:00PM Monday through Thursday normally ship on the next business day after they are received (i.e. orders received before 2:00PM Monday ship Tuesday, orders received before 2:00PM Tuesday ship Wednesday, etc.);
     

• Orders received from 2:00PM Thursday and before 2:00PM Friday normally ship on Monday;
    

• Weekend orders received from 2:00PM Friday and before 2:00PM Monday normally ship on Tuesday.

Stock orders shipped using standard shipping and handling normally arrive four to ten business days after we ship (NOT receive) the order.  2nd day air orders normally arrive the second business day after we ship (NOT receive) the order.  Next day air orders normally arrive on the next business day after we ship (NOT receive) the order.

If you have a real rush call us and we will do all we can to expedite your order.

Shipping, Drop Shipped Items

• Drop shipped orders must be pre-paid before we place the order with our vendor.
     

• Only standard shipping service is available. 2nd day or next day air shipping are not available.
    

• Most drop shipped orders ship within 1 - 2 days of when we place the order with our vendors and will meet our 4-10 business day guidelines but we recommend that you allow an extra 5 days for drop ship order delivery. We will notify you by phone or email if there are any unusual shipment delays.
     

• Returned or refused drop ship orders may be subject to vendor restocking charges. Please contact customer service before returning any drop shipped item.
   

Order Payment

Orders paid for by a validly authorized credit card normally ship according the guidelines above. Orders paid for by check normally ship after we allow a seven business day bank clearing time. We will notify you promptly by email if we will be unable to meet these shipping guidelines; if delivery time is critical we may be able to expedite the shipping of your order; please contact us for a stock check and a firm shipment date estimate before ordering. For purposes of compliance with the FTC "Mail and Telephone Order Merchandise Rule" our stated shipment policy is that we will ship all orders within 30 days of receipt of valid payment and complete destination shipping information.
