The Seca® Model 656 is an 800 pound /360 Kg capacity digital electronic platform scale with cord connected display from the Seca® family of bariatric scales. All members of the Seca medical scale series offer state of the art features that make them easy to use in any weighing application.

Designed for clinical use in weighing patients on stretchers or gurneys, the Model 656 features a highly accurate electronic weighing mechanism for years of reliable measurements. This is a full capability, high capacity bariatric scale with unequaled capacity, extra large 31.5" x 57.9" weighing platform, built in BMI function and a special hold/tare function to make it easy to weigh patients with mobility assistance devices. It has a cord connected display module for flexible installation and you can add a wheelchair ramp for easy access. Great for hospitals, clinics or care facilities, this scale is built to industrial specifications for years of reliable use. For applications not requiring such an oversized platform you may want to consider the Model 674, a member of the Seca® scale family with a large platform and cord connected digital display.

The Model 656 scale's features include:

• Easy to read - the scale features a keypad/display module with 1" LCD digits, ON/OFF and lb/Kg controls. The scale also has a Weigh/Hold, tare function and BMI calculation.  The keypad/display module is connected to the scale base by a flexible cable so you can mount the display as required for convenient viewing.

• High accuracy - the all solid state electronic measuring system has auto-zero and self calibration for accurate weighing up to 800 pounds/360 Kg. The digital display shows weight in increments of 0.2 pound/100 g.

• State of the art connectivity available - add  the optional Model 460 serial interface for connection to a printer or computer based electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Extra Large platform - the 31.5" x 57.9" weighing platform is covered with a non-slip rubber mat and it's low 2" profile also make it easy to step on and off for use by standing patients.

• Wheelchair weighing ramp available - add the optional Model 470 wheelchair ramp to make it easy to roll patients on stretchers or gurneys onto the scale. The wheelchair ramp can be attached from either side and two wheelchair ramps can be used to form a "roll on, roll off" weighing station.

• All steel construction - the scale frame, enclosure and ramps are all made from high grade steel and stainless steel for high strength and long life.

• Dual mode - the scale switches between pound and kilogram mode at the push of a button on the control module.

• Flexible power - the scale includes an AC adapter and rechargeable internal batteries.

• Easy to move - the scale has built in castors and a handle to make it easy to tilt the scale up on its side and roll it from room to room.

• Warranty - two year limited warranty on parts and labor. Repair and calibration service available worldwide.
