Scale Overview

The Seca® Model 664C is an 800 pound /360 Kg capacity digital electronic platform scale with wheelchair ramp from the Seca® family of bariatric scales.  All members of the Seca medical scale series offer state of the art features that make them easy to use in any weighing application.

Ideal for clinical office or weight loss center use, the Model 664C features a highly accurate electronic weighing mechanism for years of reliable measurements. This is a full capability, high capacity bariatric scale with unequaled capacity, large 31.5" x 38" weighing platform, built in BMI function and a special hold/tare function to make it easy to weigh patients with mobility assistance devices. It has a pole mounted swiveling display module for easy viewing and a wheelchair ramp for easy access. Seca's proprietary SmartCard® technology allows wheelchairs to be weighed and tagged for automatic tare weighing of patients. Great for hospitals, clinics or care facilities, this scale is built to industrial specifications for years of reliable use. For applications not requiring a wheelchair ramp you may want to consider the Model 674C, a member of the Seca® scale family with a large platform, cord connected digital display and SmartCard® technology.

The Model 664C scale's features include:

• Easy to read - the scale features a keypad/display module with 1" LCD digits, ON/OFF and lb/Kg controls. The scale also has a Weigh/Hold, tare function and BMI calculation.  The keypad/display module is connected to the scale base by a pole and you can swivel the display as required for convenient viewing.

• High accuracy - the all solid state electronic measuring system has auto-zero and self calibration for accurate weighing up to 800 pounds/360 Kg. The digital display shows weight in increments of 0.2 pound/100 g.

• State of the art connectivity available - add  the optional Model 460 serial interface for connection to a printer or computer based electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Seca Smart Card® Technology - lets you weigh any number of wheelchairs and store the weight in an electronic tag (3 tags are included with the scale; to order additional tags see below). Using this identifying tag allows rapid tare weighing of patients in that wheelchair by automatically subtracting the weight of the wheelchair and only displaying the weight of the patient. For applications which do not require the SmartCard, the Model 664 is the identical scale without the SmartCard® hardware.

• Large platform with wheelchair ramp - the 31.5" x 38" weighing platform is covered with a non-slip rubber mat and it's low 2" profile also make it easy to step on and off for use by standing patients. The platform incorporates self-lowering ramps to make it easy to roll patients in wheelchairs onto the platform.

• All steel construction - the scale frame, enclosure and ramps are all made from high grade steel and stainless steel for high strength and long life.

• Dual mode - the scale switches between pound and kilogram mode at the push of a button on the control module.

• Flexible power - the scale includes an AC adapter and rechargeable internal batteries.

• Easy to move - the scale platform folds up and it has built in castors and a handle to make it easy to roll it from room to room.
