The Detecto® Model DR550C* is a 550 pound/250 Kg capacity digital electronic platform scale from one of the world's leading manufacturers of industrial scales.

Until recently, high capacity, full feature digital electronic scales were so expensive as to be impractical outside of industrial or major clinical settings. Here at last is a full capability, 550 pound capacity platform stainless steel scale at a great price. Great for homes, schools, clinics or health clubs, this scale is built to industrial specifications for years of reliable use.

The Model DR550C scale's features include:

• Easy to read - the scale features a remote keypad/display module with the readout display, ON/OFF and Lb/Kg controls linked to the weighing platform by a flexible ten foot cable so you can mount the display at a convenient level for easy viewing.

• High accuracy - the all solid state electronic measuring system is accurate across the full measuring range up to 550 pounds/250 Kg. The digital display shows weight in increments of 0.2 pound/100 g.

• Large weighing platform - the 12.2" x 11.8" weighing platform is covered with a non-slip coating and very low profile, making it easy for you to step on and off.

• Dual mode - the scale switches between pound and kilogram mode at the push of a button on the control module.

• Flexible power - runs on either an AC adapter (included) or use as a portable scale powered by a 6 "AA" batteries (not included).

• Portable - while build using stainless steel and aluminum for strength, the unit weighs less than 10 pounds. It fits easily into a carrying bag and with battery power it's ideal for nurses and medical support specialists who visit patients outside the clinic.
