The Health-O-Meter® Model 597KL* is a high accuracy 600 pound/272 Kg capacity digital electronic column scale with height measuring rod from the Health-O-Meter® Pro Select® family of bariatric scales.

The Model 597KL is an accurate and reliable scale with features ideal for use in clinics, hospitals, schools or health clubs. The scale has a large low-profile base, column mounted display with 1" LCD digits which swivels for easy viewing and a USB port for EMR system interface. If you want an identically performing Pro Select® scale with a column mounted display but no height rod consider the Model 599KL, a column scale with the display mounted on a waist high 44" column. If you want an identically performing Pro Select® scale with a cable connected display consider the Model 752KL, a platform scale with the display attached using a flexible nine foot cable.

The Model 597KL scale's features include:

• Easy to read - the scale features a keypad/display module with 1" LCD digits, ON/OFF and lb/Kg controls. The scale also has a Weigh/Hold, function and BMI calculation.  The keypad/display module is attached at the top of a 54" column that swivels 340° for easy viewing. • High accuracy - the all solid state electronic measuring system has auto-zero self calibration for accurate weighing up to 600 pounds/272 Kg in increments of 0.2/100 g.

• State of the art connectivity - the scale has a USB interface port for connection to computer based electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Large weighing platform - the 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" weighing platform is covered with a non-slip coating and its low 2-1/2" profile makes it easy to step on and off.

• Integral height rod - the scale includes the Health-O-Meter® Silent Slide™ height rod for easy measurements of height from 24" to 84" (600 mm to 2.13 M).

• Dual mode - the scale switches between pound and kilogram mode at the push of a button on the control module and it has a special lockout feature to prevent accidental mode changes which can lead to weighing mistakes.

• Flexible power - the scale will operate for thousands of weighings on one set of six C batteries (included). Automatic shut off after 5 minutes for long battery life. Low battery indicator. An AC adapter is also available (not included).

• Easy to move - the scale has built in wheels to make it easy to tilt and roll the scale from room to room.
